JOOMLA and XAMPP Installation


Joomla is a Content Management System. It is used to manage the website content, by using the Joomla you can easily add up pages, image changes, menu creation etc in your website. Here I am attaching the video that how can we can install joomla.


But before installation Joomla you are needed to install some pre applications:

MySQL Database
PHP 


XAMPP is suite having all above three installation.

In EBS ERP Application, routing is defined as the step-by-step operations you perform to manufacture a product. Each routing can have any number of operations. For each operation you specify a department that determines the resources you may use for that operation.

What Is System Administration?
A System Administration assigns the responsibility for for controlling access to Oracle Applications and assuring smooth ongoing operation.

Common Task of System Administration:

Managing and controlling security.
Decide which users have access to each application, and within an application, which forms, functions, and reports a user can access.


Setting up new users.
Register new Oracle Applications users, and give them access to only those forms, functions, and reports they need to do their jobs

Auditing user activity.
Monitor what users are doing and when they do it. Choose who to audit and what type of data to audit.

Setting user profiles.
A user profile is a set of changeable options that affects the way Oracle Applications look and behave. A System Administrator can set user profile values at the site, application, responsibility, and user levels.

Managing concurrent processing
Concurrent Processing is an Oracle Applications facility that lets long–running, data–intensive tasks run simultaneously with online operations, taking full advantage of multitasking and parallel processing. A System Administrator can monitor and control  concurrent processing using a few simple forms.

Two responsibilities: System Vs Database Administrator:

  • You can think of Oracle Applications as having two sides: a front end that users see and work with, and a back end where data  manipulation is performed.
  • The natural division between user applications and the underlying database structures results in two separate job functions: system administrator, and database administrator.
  • An Oracle Applications System Administrator administers the user interface or applications side of Oracle Applications.
  • An Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) administers the data that users enter, update, and delete while using Oracle Applications.

Procure to Pay


In Oracle ERP EBS, the creation of the purchasing document marks the beginning of the required steps within the ordering process. Oracle Purchasing allows you to create several different types of purchasing documents: standard and planned purchase orders, blanket and contract purchase agreements, along with blanket and scheduled releases.  These six documents allow maximum flexibility to meet procurement team needs, while maintaining corporate policies and standards.



There are 4 types of Purchase Orders


Standard PO
A Standard PO is created for one–time purchase   of various items.

Planned PO
A Planned PO is a long–term agreement committing to buy items or services from a single source. You must specify tentative delivery schedules and all details for goods or services that you want to buy, including charge account, quantities, and estimated cost.

Blanket agreement: 
A Blanket PO is created when you know the detail of the goods or services you plan to buy from a specific supplier in a period, but you do not know the detail of your delivery schedules.

Contract agreement: 
Contract purchase agreements are created with your suppliers to agree on specific terms and conditions without indicating the goods and services that you will be purchasing.

Receipt Types are:
Direct Receipt
One step - “dock to stock”
Standard Receipt
Two steps:
Goods are received.
Goods are delivered in.
Inspection Required
 Three steps
Goods are received and then sent to Inspection.
Goods are accepted or rejected.
            Third step either returns or delivered.
